It's hard to believe in our post-MCU world, but lots of people looked at the success of 1989's Batman and didn't immediately think "More Cape Comic Superheros" They though "More retro aesthetic adventure heroes with iconic designs and colorful villains"

The Rocketeer Trust Pure nostalgia with awesome story and art, and then an excellent interpretation in the movie. Dave Steven’s was just awesome! The first pacific comic I read blew me away and took me back to Rocketman serials. It is to this day one of my top 5 comics! Betty was pure beauty!
