He’s just been bodied for Haaland’s second, but Jarrad Branthwaite has got a an opportunity to be the late bolter for the England squad at the Euros. Guehi and Colwill currently injured, Tomori never really trusted by Southgate.

Brilliant performance across the board from Forest today, but @necowilliams01 was absolutely incredible. Didn’t give Kudus a sniff all game, deserved a pen and set up the second.

Very frustrating that we didn’t get the drop ball at the end. But let’s not pretend that’s why we lost. If Hudson-Odoi/Awoniyi put their foot through it at the end, we get a point. The reaction that we’ve been robbed or a victim of a conspiracy is embarrassing, for me Clive #nffc

Our first goal showed the difference made by highly technical players. Murillo having the confidence to skim a ball into the middle of the park and Gibbs-White spinning Palhinha for the through ball. I wish they could play for us forever. #nffc

I was really banking on someone on here making a 2021/2024 Saka montage for my assembly tomorrow morning. Something like this from 2018.

Carsley’s first squad on Thursday. Full back is an issue with Shaw out and Walker and Trippier not playing. I’d expect Rico Lewis to come in. From Carsley’s u21s, Colwill and Madueke have made great starts. With Bellingham likely out, Morgan Rogers and Gibbs-White are in the mix.

Got to get through the playoff in August, but one of the positives of the Conference League is the opportunity to give some minutes to academy players. We’ve got a B team that just won the PL International but there hasn’t been a pathway for a while. #nffc

It will never feel normal to see Forest signing players like Kalimuendo, McAtee and (potentially) Douglas Luiz and Hutchinson. 10 years ago, we signed Matt Mills on a free. #nffc

Today was the day the National Pool finally got some traction. Shout out from David Cameron Walker about Max Alleyne on the excellent The England Pod. If ever you need to know how many injuries are required before Keinan Davis gets a call-up, I’m your man.
