Featuring our Science Coordinator, nameer.bksy.social 🇵🇸 on April 5th! birdsanctuary.kbs.msu.edu/events/explori…

Applications for our W.K. Kellogg Biological Station summer undergraduate programs are now open! No better place to spend your summer, and no better people to spend it with! If you love the outdoors and think you might want to get a little bit more involved in science then APPLY 😃

We are excited to share our new NatureEcoEvo article! Using data from > 300,000 biological sciences manuscripts and policies for > 500 Ecology & Evolution journals, we found evidence for bias during peer review (a🧵) (nature.com/articles/s4155…)

Along with our recent paper by Robin Waterman showing selection maintaining stamen length differences, this suggests selection causes the trait to be conserved across the family.

Thank you to the USDA National Institute of Food & Agriculture for awarding me a 3-year pre-doctoral fellowship to study the roles of plasticity and evolution in the colonization of crop fields by weeds! MSU College of Natural Science W.K. Kellogg Biological Station NIFA Jeff Conner

We are excited to share our new Trends in Ecology & Evolution article, where we identify demographic gaps in the authorship of peer review bias research, and touch on some potential solutions to this problem authors.elsevier.com/a/1ikvecZ3X04gL (a🧵)
