I need a very funny and at least somewhat rude joke for a piece of writing. Got to be one that's quick to tell, like a one- or two-liner. I'm coming up blank, any suggestions?

How do you handle multiple WIPs? I've got 3 on the go and it's beginning to feel like I'll never finish any of them. I'm dealing with it by vowing to myself that I'll do some work on one of them each day, and I have, but don't feel any closer to the end of any! #WritingCommmunity

I've backed myself into a corner and now have to write a description of what it's like to eat an oyster baked in a creamy sauce. Never eaten one. Can anyone describe the texture to me? 🙏

Giving remote control of my computer to a colleague and then realising that I've got two AO3 tabs open and they could be ANYTHING 😳

I thought inspiration would come to me in the middle of the night, and at the time it felt like it did. Unfortunately, the cold light of day revealed that my inspiration was 'Write a Ford Edsel into the plot' 🤷‍♀️

Just wanted to thank you all for your support. I spent two days writing filler and during that time my subconscious sorted it out. I'm back on track!

How much does everyone write per day? Since I started writing daily I average a little over 800 words, which on the one hand seems OK given that I work full time, but on the other hand sometimes feels lazy!

Seven weeks later and I've just hit 90,000! Wasn't really expecting it to be this long. Definitely in the final act now though. I'll be bereft without it once it's done.

In February I decided I'd write fiction every single day. I've stuck to it religiously, with the exception of when I was backpacking without my computer! It's improved my sense of wellbeing immensely - no day is wasted when you've created something. Who's the same?

Just reached 100,000 words on my WIP which I think is honestly a bit too long. I've lived with these characters for so long and I can't let them go, so I keep on giving them more problems to deal with! Can anybody relate?

Does anyone else struggle for motivation when it comes to writing the last chapter of a book? I'm there and it's going soooo slooowly, and I think it's some sort of fear of it ending. Not sure how to tackle it, this is a recurrent problem.

Can you help me identify this book? It begins with a cat burglar breaking into the flat of a government minister in London on New Year's Eve. He uses the cover of the fireworks to blast into the safe, looking for jewels. However, he accidentally takes away some secret papers.
