Roscosmos says that Makeyev Rocket Design Bureau, the developer of Korona launch vehicle (a Soyuz-sized SSTO), confirmed the feasibility of such launch vehicle, promising the beginning of hardware development work (Опытно-конструкторские работы) in 2026.

Preparation of the Fregat upper stage is underway at the Vostochny cosmodrome. This one is for the upcoming Soyuz-2.1b launch with Aist-2T remote sensing satellites and a bunch of small- & cubesats, which should happen somewhere in December/January.

Soyuz-2.1a rocket for Soyuz MS-28 mission was assembled at Baikonur.
