I think it’s funny how we were assigned this podcast. I actually stopped eating red meat myself because of how messed up the raising and slaughter of animals can be. #eng101

Never really understood how effective dogs can be I combat. It’s a cool idea to think that even dogs have given their own lives for us. #eng101

During Talk America I thought it was cool how they switched between multiple people and asked how they felt about their own accents. #eng101

The way the author uses examples and asks questions forces you to think more in depth at the idea of translingualism. It helps prevent the reader from overlooking these examples that may seem pointless. #eng101

The way the podcast uses phone calls, speaking, and reading emails shows different sides of the story. Its different hearing a story from a person who is actually from s town compared to a podcast host. #eng101

The use of emotion that John shares while telling the story is essential to podcast. His stressed and urgent voice goes well with the disturbing problems of s town. #eng101

The term ability should be more appreciated by everyone. What our abilities are should be unique to every individual and not looked at as a disability. #eng101

Its pretty disappointing how there are legal battles going on about accessibility. I think we all know that not everyone can access certain things out there. #eng101

The information we learned about podcasts can be directly applied to our project. Its good to know how we should be using pauses and being smart with our limited time as well. #eng101

The way the podcast uses music, genres, stories, and even just the discussion was a good example of how to create a podcast that keeps the listener hooked. #eng101

The danger of silence | Clint Smith I enjoy the idea of speaking your deep thoughts and feelings but I am sure that for some this can be extremely hard. Smith doesn't really go into that aspect of how hard it can be making this pretty one sided.

The danger of silence | Clint Smith Clint Smith tried to address how hard it can be by using his life examples. Though it was inspiring I don't think it addresses everyone who keeps things in silence. The message was good but I am sure for some speaking out is extremely hard.

When it comes to making your project multimodal, the hardest part is taking a usual single aspect of something and adding to it. For example taking a podcast and figuring out where to apply words and music is tough. #eng101

It was interesting how podcasts use to be called audioblogging. It also wasn't until the iPod times around 2004 where podcasts started becoming a thing. #eng101

We should all try and use what we learned about applying emotion to our own projects. It would make our projects that much more unique. #eng101

This GWRJ article is very useful for our future project. I know have a much better idea on topics and the proper steps to write a good article. #eng101

Though most of us probably are not looking forward to this article we have to write, I respect how GWRJ is encouraging young writers to pursue a topic in depth. #eng101

I think its an interesting concept that your work space is actually pretty important. It seems to me that a good spot to work can help you out mentality. #eng101

Its nice to realize that some of these articles are written by fellow students. I have never wrote this large of an article before and it seems like its very doable after reading more articles. #eng101
