Unbeknowingest to some...healthcare isn’t free. You pay taxes. And Canada and the United States have the most sophiscated health care systems in the world. The other thing people don’t know is...there is no perfect solution.

Social status does not play a role in your selection. Maybe you do a little more research on waiting lists in your own country. Privatized healthcare now has 30% of the market in Canada as well. And we have free healthcare in the US. It’s call Medicare.

So a Canadian pays thousands of dollars in taxes...but it’s free. And I don’t consider an MRI for a tumor or a CT for CA elective. It’s okay though. You have worked in medicine and know more than I do about it. Nice conversation.

To substantiate an argument with a someone who only throws out what they have read on mainstream media is clearly in affective on my part. Diagnosis only speeds treatment in people with less comorbitities. I can have this argument all day.

Universal...Hmmm. Let’s see what the definition of that is then we can talk about how people who can’t afford healthcare in Canada receive treatment. Then we can discuss the meaning of free. Then we can discuss why your country allowed private healthcare to resume.

I didn’t insult your intelligence by a tweet with a mispelled autocorrection on a keyboard. But we can. We can also discuss funding for “universal” healthcare and US Medicare and Medicaid. As well private and government reimbursement for my services if you would like.

Awe...that’s so cute. Trying to insult someone when it truly shows your ignorance of medicine and my profession in general. See we do “Anesthesia”. We keep you..as you would understand “asleep”. We don’t “sew” patients “up”
