My wife just sent this,top pic is my daughter(who she was face-timing) over 2,000 miles away in Wyoming at 6:50pm est and me at the same time down on the peir fishing. She's in the bed of my truck, and I'm using her fishing rod.

Day 1 of quitting smoking after 45 years. I'm going with the motto of 1 more hour, 1 more day.

Day 4 of not smoking hasn't been easy,especially after eating, but no cigarettes since Sunday at 6 pm. The real test will be when I have a beer. I might have to give up a few beers on the weekend for a while.

I have to wait until she's drives out close to the hardcap rd. Wind river is expecting snow overnight and tomorrow. She's flying home the 1st wk of July until the 6th. Hope she starts roots out in Wy.

There should be a law that states " when a man is enjoying an evening of fishing he shouldn't have to be distracted by having to put the rod down,pick up his phone to take pics of a nice little boat going by....

Bought these Wrangler work shorts last fall. I wear a 32W, but they were cut at 31ish (all my jeans and other pants fit perfectly at 32W. Soaked em in a bucket of water and then hooked up a ratchet strap and let dry overnight,they fit like a 32 waist today!

Our daughter only fished the Chesapeake bay and offshore of Ocean City. Now she's teaching women( Wyoming BOW program)how to fish. Yesterday, she caught her 1st trout while on duty, lol. I'll get to hear all about the fight today. She's flying home for the wk.

Took my adult children out fishing last night. Daughter wanted to drive,56mph made her happy.....Someone forgot the bait...still had 3 hours of laughs and memories.

She's been home since Monday night, flying back tomorrow. Couldn't be more proud.

After my granddaughters boat ride,cooking,steaming,eating, and drinking, I thought I would lay on the couch for a half hour,maybe even take a nap b4 the fireworks...But noooo,someone needs belly rubs. Lab owners will understand.
