We've lost a good friend and contributor to the history of MoMA PS1, Germano Celant (1940–2020). He organized "The Knot" (1985) at PS1, the first exhibition in NY that brought together 12 major postwar "arte povera" Italian artists working in materials like rags, paper, and rope.
