What a gorgeous display of wildflowers! The recent rain has resulted in a particularly vibrant burst of colour across the nature reserves we manage on the Romney Marsh. What a beautiful week of sunshine! We made the most of the weather by doing a bee and butterfly survey with volunteers at Greatstone Dunes, where we saw good numbers of invertebrates. We did our annual count of this gorgeous and scarce flower this week at Romney Warren. We counted 24! It's called Deptford pink.
