Today, the activities of the regional workshop on marine litter, held by ROPME, were inaugurated with the participation of 8 countries and 40 regional & international experts, with the aim of discussing the cooperation required to deal with this urgent and important global issue

The activities of the regional workshop on marine litter, held by ROPME, continued for the second day, and included several sessions that focused on determining the sites for collecting marine and coastal samples, analyzing them, and issuing national and regional levels report

ROPME concluded the work of the regional workshop on marine litter Day 3, included field visits to train on the standard methods for sample collection, type identification, classification, describing and analyzing them, leading to the unification of the region’s marine policies

On January 20,2025,our organization celebrated 10 years of international cooperation with the UK’s CEFAS. During a visit by CEFAS CEO Neil Hornby,we reflected on achievements in biodiversity,climate change,and marine litter,and explored future collaboration for strategic projects
