Some good news about this election: we sent 1,100 volunteers to help 103 pro-life candidates, some in very tight, swing ridings. We were able to help elect 90 out of the 103, which is an 87% success rate. There are now more pro-life MPs in the House of Commons than there have

There's been a lot of talk lately about what makes us Canadian, and what Canadian values really look like. Canadian historical figures fought for the soul of our nation with their anti-abortion principles and policies creating a distinctly pro-life heritage in Canada. Check it

Tom Wappel was a Liberal member of the House of Commons from 1988 to 2008, representing the Toronto riding of Scarborough West and its successor riding of Scarborough Southwest. He was a staunch social conservative and prominent opponent of abortion.

It would in fact be smart for any Conservative to run on the protection of life. Running away from the issue has not been effective. Protecting life is also the right thing to do.

I had the pleasure of speaking at a press conference this morning alongside MP Tamara Jansen on her private member’s bill C-218, the Right to Recover Act. I was proud to co-sponsor this bill, which will stop the coming expansion of assisted dying to people with mental illness.

I want to thank Andrew for bravely coming forward to tell his story to try and help others suffering with their mental health. And to Tamara Jansen for leading the effort with Bill C-218 to protect these people and get them proper health care and treatment, not assisted suicide.
