The girls enjoyed a nice little practice followed by some pizza for team bonding this Labor Day weekend!

We got all three wins from JV 2, JV 1, and Varsity!! Thanks to everyone who came to support!

Last night the varsity girls were able to play some fun games with the Seymour’s varsity team in some of the down time they had while waiting for refs! We love these opportunities!

The Eagles had a huge win last night against 5a Roosevelt in three straight sets! JV 1 and JV 2 also got the wins over the Roughriders! It was a big night for ACA!

You’re Eagles are headed to state!! The girls got their ticket punched while sweeping Sydney 3-0! The Eagles will be playing in the quarter finals at state on Tuesday at 8:00, against Don Bosco! See you in Coralville!

Some final stats from the match: eagles volleyball outhit Holy Trinity by .215 to .130. Macey Nehring had 16 kills, Carley Craighead chipped in 13, and Anna Weathers 9. Weathers also had 5 aces. Riese Gjerde racked up 22 digs.

Final: Ankeny Christian 9, Coon Rapids-Bayard 8. The Crusaders get a run in the 7th but leave the potential tying run stranded at 2nd.
