Help!! Is there any definitive research / evidence based list of the most common written errors in KS3 and KS4 English? I've found this from 1999! assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/5a748c8f… I have a list from examining and list of the most common errors in my own school. #TeamEnglish #edutwitter

Trying to find stories to complement Yr8 Landscapes & Lit and Yr9 In the Sea there are Crocodiles. This is lovely. So far, Rabbit Proof Fence, Underland, Refugee Boy, The Salt Path and Running on the Roof of the World are other contenders. #edutwitter #teamenglish

I think I’m getting to quite like Manchester United again. 4-3 thriller. Madness after 90mins. Now pulling back a 2-0 reverse at The Bridge. This is more like it. Attack! Attack! Attack! #ManUtd

Too many people are dying in pain, poverty and alone. End of life care is stretched to the limit. We can't let this crisis continue. The next UK Government must take action. Sign our petition to tell party leaders that this election, there's no excuse.

Everyone knows Labour are going to win the election, but if you’re feeling like there’s no point in voting as the outcome is a foregone conclusion, I’d like to draw your attention to something really radical that is on offer tomorrow: 1/8

Teaching Tess of the D’Urbervilles at A Level for the first time. Great stuff on Lit Drive and had help from colleagues but could do with any pointers, material advice. Thanks in advance!! Team English

Ok, gearing up to start as Eng HoD for the first time. Question: what’s ’the one thing’ I need to keep in mind/do/avoid? Had a great handover for 6 months and have done quite a lot already. I’ll have a new 2nd too. We’ve both been at the school for a long time.
