This Blood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re launching a landmark new report: Taking blood cancer out of the shadows: A plan to increase survival, that details how blood cancer survival in the UK is being overshadowed 🩸

Survival rates from blood cancer is falling behind compared with similar countries. But at Blood Cancer UK we have an ambitious plan to improve outcomes with key recommendations outlined in our report launched today 👇🏻

It's important that people from all communities are involved in shaping and deciding what research is funded. At Blood Cancer UK we worked with Egality Health and several AMRC to develop this film exploring why hearing from diverse voices important.

We’re proudly wearing #Red4Research to celebrate all those making research happen. Research is key to addressing the health crisis, unlocking new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat illness.

Fascinating work from Lynn Quek’s team supported by Blood Cancer UK Research. Cells from clonal haematopoiesis with p53 mutations show abnormal regulation of oxidative stress. This may be a mechanism for selection of these clones and explain metabolic disorders in patients. #ASH24
