Almost a year ago, our democracy was violently attacked. And today, democracy is under attack again. 19 states have passed bills trying to make it harder to vote. Next year, more states are going to try. Passing the Freedom to Vote Act cannot wait.

Trump and his allies are entirely transparent about their goal of overturning future elections. So we must do more than speak up about the importance of democracy. We must act. It is time to end the filibuster, time to protect voting rights, and time to defend our democracy.
