Carabus auronitens back again in Chilterns this year. What a ridiculously stunning beetle! Seems to be doing well here with five spotted. Plenty of violaceus and problematicus too, so not having a negative impact? Even found the elytra from an eaten one. Ground Beetle Recording Scheme Coleopterists Society of Britain and Ireland

I figured out the way to trigger the climate troll bots. All you have to do is tweet that 2024 will likely be the warmest in the last 100,000 years and they will fall over themselves to post the usual lies and insults on behalf of Big Oil and Big Musk. aljazeera.com/news/2024/1/9/…

There is no future for humans on this Earth and sadly all the other innocent creatures they will take with them unless we start saving and growing nature and not growing economies that is destroying nature Most people are too brainwashed to even realize this fundamental truth

I really struggle to understand why holding water companies to account for the colossal damage they have done is such a challenge? Many protected landscapes owned by English water firms in disrepair, data shows theguardian.com/environment/ar…

Three years on and I’ve a garden that’s so buzzing with bees, humming with grasshoppers and crickets and coloured with butterflies. Shame summer is almost over! 🥰🌱

Did u know? Pollinators need food all year round, so it's good to have as many late flowering plants as you can in your outside space, like starry Asters. This spectacular Small Tortoishell butterfly is having a feast. Look at the colours on this handsome winged beaut! 🌈

As most of the summer flower start to fade, if you can and your neighbours don’t mind, let the Ivy grow. It provides essential, early and late summer pollen and nectar. It will be full of pollinators all the way into winter.
