Does anyone else put in lowball offers on FleaBay for things they REALLY shouldn't buy, but if the seller accepts, then "it was meant to be"? I do... all of the time 🤣. This one didn't work out for me here (I think I offered $70), but I think I missed out! NOS Enlight ATX case.

As seen on the Internet: "did a bios update on this Toshiba Infinia 7200 successfully. it was bios 1.00.03 DH08 before. wasnt sure since the verify failed, but did it anyways." Hey, that's how we learn. But yea, if the checksum fails when updating a BIOS, best to re-evaluate.

Tomorrow is the day for the "newly created" Northern Virginia swap meet! I just dragged all of the PCs that have found new homes downstairs, including good ol' Rustbucket 2000. It had a short stay here, but hopefully it has found its new forever home 😂

Working on two minor retro projects today. First, I got more memory for the Pacman PC, so bumped it up to 1.5GB and am running MemTest86+. Second, I tried to do a VGA cable swap on the IBM 8513 you see here with my other 8513, but sadly internal cables are different. All good!

I fell asleep this afternoon and missed scoring this Packard Bell monitor for around $10 😅. There was a shipping option for around $70 which would have made this a decent deal. But this is probably for the best, I didn't "need" it 😂😂

I needed to clear off the desk and by happenstance put this IBM 8513 on top of my Kehtron 486 PC. And when I looked at it later, I thought this is kind of a cute pairing. So I had to snap a picture naturally and wanted to share it with all of you!
