Dusted off the N64. Connected via a cheap HDMI converter. Really should invest in something better for connecting to a modern TV or monitor. Any good suggestions to use with a regular unmodded N64? #N64 #Nintendo64

I've been trying out the Kaico 2x line doubler HDMI adapter for N64 next to a generic cheap pass-through adapter. I'm not sure how well the photos convey the improvement to the image quality but the difference is immediately noticeable on a large TV display with a moving image.

20 years ago to the day, Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events was released at the cinema. Seems the perfect time to play the game based on the movie. It's a surprisingly charming and playable game.

Managed to pick these up for half price. They look great. And yes the joystick is clicky 🙌

Crimson Sea #Xbox. The controls are a bit clunky but it's a fun game.

Namco's answer to Need For Speed Underground 2, Street Racing Syndicate. Released 2004 in NTSC regions but I don't think the PAL version released until summer 2005. Developed by Eutechnyx but curious that Codemasters are also credited on the back of the case, in the small print.

Playing the 2009 #Wolfenstein. It was delisted in 2014 across digital storefronts on both PC and console. Thankfully there's a disc copy for game preservation on consoles at least. I've heard contrasting reasons why it was delisted. Quality shouldn't be one - it's a great game.

Get your funk on! Playing some Toe Jam & Earl 3 on #Xbox. Such an offbeat game, much like the others in the series.
