entire situation is so strange. especially with this whole section. talking about how it was a hot topic of discussion with alot of people's idea of DK being very different. might explain why stuff like shigahesa's art is so different from the general new design stuff.

Going to be avoiding giving some deeper thoughts on the game since it's new and don't want to spoil but man, Diddy Kong looks *awful*. Even Shigahesa seemingly knows this because none of the horrible faces changes are in his art within the same game! (Same with Dixie Kong too!)

Pac-Man World Repac 2 looks so good! Really cool to see it's a re-imagining putting it's own spin on it then just a faithful 1 to 1 remake because the OG game is very good as is. Major step up visually from Re-Pac 1 too! New content especially looks cool! Excited to see more!

Also really looking forward to Plants Vs Zombies Replanted. Grew up playing the original game and the visuals for the remaster are on 100% point. Steam page also says its going to have new content too! Excited for that especially the concept art with previously unreleased art!

Don't typically go into this sort of thing. But this is why giving reasonable critiques is good and important. Lots of people were giving people saying the trick animations were rough a hard time as "not a big deal". But it clearly was important enough for sega to go in an fix it

Immediately could tell by the quality wanted to go make sure and I was correct. This amazing piece of art was done by Cameron Reigle - Now on Bluesky. An amazing artist who has done many fantastic pieces of Rare related fan art over the years, (and also a certain piece for a red guy!)

BTW also regarding this collab The car Pac-Man has in crosswords is retro-stylized Red Car that he is often seen with in stuff like promotional art and Ridge Racer. More specifically the Ridge Racer car as it also has the Pac-Man Symbol on the Wheels! Neat reference tbh

So we have a better look at Bark in Sonic Blitz now and... This might literally be the worst character model I have ever seen in a sonic game. Genuinely what happened here. This doesn't even remotely look like the same character.
