For nearly two decades, recombinant erythropoietin has carried a black box warning due to its potential to increase tumor growth. In this excellent study, the authors uncover important roles for EPO in suppressing anti-tumor immunity. Congrats David and team!

Excited to see our protocol out today on spontaneous and experimental models of LN metastasis in Nature Protocols! Though a straightforward system conceptually, getting these models working reliably took more time than originally expected so I hope this is a resource to everyone.
