I am no virologist, but by allowing the virus to spread, could it not mutate into a deadlier strain? We've seen the patterns of mutations and waves of infection. We don't get to decide when a pandemic is over. I will keep social distancing and masking until the pandemic is over.

#CovidIsNotOver I am against this “back to normal” experiment to see who survives, who gets long covid or who dies. This virus mutates and will continue to do so the more it spreads, potentially causing a more lethal strain. If we go back to "normal," we've learned nothing.

#RiseUp4AbortionRights It's appalling yet signifying of the authoritarian context we live in, where abortion rights are at risk. The irony of the Christian Right is they want "limited government" for them, but "big government" for those they oppose. This is authoritarian freedom.

The Christian Far-Right doesn’t care about the massive problem of killing and harming human life. If they did they never would elect any government which prioritizes military spending over climate change initiatives such as the Green New Deal.

These fascists were voted out nationwide and these policies are massively unpopular, even in the states they control - yet they’re steamrolling their agenda forward. How are they winning? Because too many of us have been led into passivity, conciliation and accommodation.
