This week, I had the opportunity to meet with the chancellors of the UW-Whitewater, UW-Platteville, and UW-La Crosse. We discussed their priorities for the state budget and what they are doing to meet the needs of students and the State of Wisconsin.

At the end of last month, I visited the 4th-grade students at Colby Schools in preparation for their visit to Madison. On Thursday, I welcomed them to the Capitol and was able to speak with them for a few minutes in the Assembly Chambers.

This week, I met with Steve Dickinsen and Town of Johnson Clerk Marilyn Bhend, who were in Madison on behalf of the Wisconsin Towns Association. It is always great to learn more about how the state can partner with town governments to meet the needs of their residents.

On Wednesday, I had the opportunity to sit down for a conversation with Attorney General Josh Kaul. While we may not always agree, I am grateful he took the time to meet with me and share his priorities for the Attorney General Josh Kaul.

On this day 177 years ago, Wisconsin became the 30th state to enter the Union. Happy birthday, Wisconsin! #StatehoodDay #OnWisconsin

It was another great weekend celebrating June Dairy Month around the 69th District. On Saturday, I attended the FFA Dairy Breakfast in Athens. Then on Sunday, I stopped by the Town and Country Dairy Breakfast in Medford and the Chamber of Commerce Dairy Breakfast in Neillsville.
