Worth a watch - grab a cup of tea and have a think about blood administration prehospital for major trauma patients with the authors #RePHILL #FOAMed (thanks for putting this together, Critical Care Reviews)
Critical Care Reviews Could #REPHILL be the next FEAST? An uncomfortable finding that doesn't fit with established dogma and therefore many will just pretend it didn't happen or contort themselves into arguments about how their practice/system/patients are different? *ducks for cover*
Massively important point from Clare Bosanko tonight - all the focus has been on blood products but if all you have is saline, it’s ok as it is no worse than RBC/plasma in prehospital traumatic haemorrhage with rapid transfer. We can end “pasta water” claims.
