Medical industry changing the goalposts for BP and LDL CHOL down from what it was. The result, millions more placed on meds to lower both. Medical necessity? Or, just a change in business model to increase profits? Always question when medical changes benefit industry.

Masks protected us from a rapidly spreading pandemic. But ultraprocessed food is fuleing a slow one, and the church often serves it every Sunday. If love means preventing harm, then it's time to feed our people health, hot disease. What we did for one pandemic do for the other.

Churches, at least 70% of the people who will sit in your pews tomorrow have at least one chronic illness, many caused by poor nutrition. Prayerfully consider as you plan hospitality snacks so that you don’t add to people’s poor nutrition. Love neighbor but do no harm.

Aging well or aging poorly is a choice. The choice to age well begins in the kitchen. You can begin TODAY to choose well.

Something to think about! The challenge I've experienced is people just don't know where to begin concerning lifestyle choices especially since there is so many conflicting messages about nutrition and fitness. Help is available.

Churches celebrate when someone breaks an addiction & gives glory to God, but every Sunday many churches feed sugar addiction with donuts/cookies/baked goods and think nothing of it. Churches please stop enabling a socially acceptable addiction that’s destroying health.

Trust the… Science Church Government Whenever power demands trust without transparency, it’s not inviting faith it’s enforcing control. True trust is earned through openness, accountability, and shared discernment. It’s OK to doubt and ask questions, that’s how we find truth.

Will your church be offering healthy hospitality or causing harm tomorrow? If fellowship time includes donuts, cookies, candy, juice, or coffee mate…if children’s ministries include goldfish, gummy bears and juice boxes…there is active harm being done. There’s a better way.

Have you noticed Hollywood has lost its innovative creativity? Every year brings another reboot, remake, or recycled storyline that’s not even close to the genius of the original! No motivation to go see today’s reboots!

Originally Sunday Schools were places to teach children, who didn’t go to school, how to read. Churches filled the gap. Today children get next to no nutritional instruction or teachings about their own body’s metabolic system. Perhaps the church can once again stand in the gap?

Change your diet. Change your life. It’s not hype — it’s biology.

If the church that preaches love keeps serving sugar that destroys health, it’s time to rethink hospitality. Maybe the first act of love is choosing better for ourselves.

The majority of products in modern supermarkets didn’t even exist 125 years ago. What we now call “food” is mostly a modern invention, engineered for convenience and profit, not nourishment. Real food is the kind your great-grandparents would recognize.

Alcohol is to culture what sugar is to the church. The church rejects one, but embraces the other. Both shape behavior. Both cause harm. Both damage wellness. So… why the disconnect?

I hate to say this, but health insurance premiums will never go down. The more our health deteriorates as a nation the more those premiums will continue to go up. If there’s even a slight chance, it will only be because Americans learned to change their lifestyles.
