To be credible an empirical science - which Econ has increasingly become (fortunately imo) - must be responsive to replications, so these are disconcerting (and important!) findings.

Hi Pedro H. C. Sant'Anna, I'm using your "did" package in R for a staggered DD. It gives different results depending on whether I manually drop the always-treated before or not, which confuses me bc I thought they wouldn't be used in estimation anyways. Would very much appreciate your help!
