♻️ Hambleton residents are fantastic recyclers with over 8k tonnes recycled last year. 👍 But we still get too much contamination 👎Please don't put these items in your recycling bin:- plastic bags, black plastic, hard rigid plastic, polystyrene, plant pots, crisp packets.

It's Recycle Week ♻️ - We don't accept clothing and textiles in our blue lidded recycling bins. However, they can be recycled at Charity Shops, Clothing Banks, Buys Sell Swap sites, or why not repair and re-use wherever possible 👍 ♻️♻️

It's Recycle Week - You can recycle all your food/drinks cans, aluminium foil and foil trays in your blue lidded recycling bin, providing they are clean ♻️💦. But all other metal items need to be taken to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre 👍

For the safety of our crews please don't tie anything to your bin, this can get caught on the lifting mechanism. If you need to secure a bin please ensure the rope/string is tied to the fixing point not the bin. Bins need to be accessible and unhindered at all times. Thank you.
