Thank you Covid for giving me time to read this. I wasn't expecting this story to end how it did. We look at the story of Theseus in Y7 & the children always ask how Theseus could have left Ariadne; this book certainly gives one explanation!

I was genuinely scared in parts of this! I can't believe I'm only just discovering this fantastic story at my age. I would've loved this when I was younger (although I was a scaredy-pants then too).

First book of the holidays. I'm aiming to finish the half-read books from the pile next to my bed before I dip my toes into the delights of a new book. This was fairly humorous and a reminder that it's never too late to rediscover old friends.

One of my inherited Y13 students will be doing their NEA on Dr. Faustus and The Brothers Kramazov. I've avoided reading Dostoevsky for my whole life: should I start now?

This was a fun read. The same and yet totally different to the TV series. I loved them both.
