August 1980 ... Liverpool FC defeat West Ham 1-0 thanks to a first half @TerryMac777 goal and England number 1 Ray Clemence picks up yet another piece of silverware.!..He’s his usual immaculate self when called upon and it’s now only a League Cup medal that’s missing from his collection

8/9/1980.. Ray Clemence pictured at England’s training ground prior to the opening World Cup 82’ qualifying tie with Norway at Wembley stadium... Due to manager Ron Greenwood’s ludicrous goalkeeper rotation policy the Liverpool FC number 1 will watch the game from the bench!!!

I’m loving this new mural on a house of the legendary and all round great guy Ray Clemence Vee Clemence #LFC

John Martin Ray Clemence Vee Clemence Well deserved Liverpool FC legend. It was an honour to be involved ✌🏻

29/11/1980.... Winter in the UK has certainly arrived as Liverpool FC take on Sunderland AFC in a division 1 clash at a snowy Roker Park. The snow, the orange ball & England number one Ray Clemence making goalkeeping look ridiculously easy portrays perfectly football from bygone era

Ray Clemence Derby Day tomorrow, this is one of my favourite images....says it all...1977 Semi Final. Wishing you all the best ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

January 1981 .... Injuries are starting to mount up as Liverpool FC challenge once again on all 3 fronts domestically and also in Europe ... Thankfully the dependable & rock solid Ray Clemence remains in outstanding form... What a save this is from England’s number 1 goalkeeper

‘GRANDAD!’ Liverpool FC 😍 Ray Clemence 🧤 with Red Neighbours Starship @MurwallsArt . . #rayclemence #LiverpoolFC #lfclegend #goalkeeper #muralart #StreetArt #streetartist

14/3/1981... It’s a pulsating League Cup final as both teams go close but the game is goalless after 90 minutes due largely to the fact there are two outstanding goalkeepers on display at Wembley.... Phil Parkes of West Ham United and of course Ray Clemence.. Liverpool FC and England’s number 1!!

Alan Kennedy controversially opens the scoring for Liverpool FC but in the 119th minute West Ham United have a free kick.. Stewart’s thunderbolt brings a wonder save out of England No 1 Ray Clemence perfectly described by the iconic BBC radio commentator the late great Peter Jones.

18/3/1981..The big games keep coming as Liverpool FC complete the double over CSKA with a 1-0 win in Sofia to progress to the semi finals of the European Cup!! England number 1 Ray Clemence is unbeatable on the night thwarting the Bulgarians time & time again .. a magnificent display!
