Could we inspire you with some stuffed pheasant, quail or goose perhaps? 😆This image is taken in the Ante Chamber where food was prepared for the Lord and his guests. The cage was traditionally used to hang eel, pheasant, quail, rabbit and goose from. #Tamworth #History

Year 9 students were captivated by the virtual 9/11 summit. Students explored how we remember 9/11 and tackling extremism today and celebrating difference. #nationalhumanrightsday

Many thanks to each & every participant for asking such thoughtful questions & giving insightful feedback during this morning's virtual summit! Without your participation, the event could not have been the success that it was. And a big big thank you to our speakers! #SINCE911VSS

Fed up with the news? Let's see what was in the local news this week in 1960: Building in Dosthill, Arson in town, theft, & several deaths. Guide Dog Whist sounds like an entertaining game though.

27/01/1932: Wilnecote Parish Hall opened for the benefit of local people. 67 years later the Council had a crazy plan to knock it down. Saved by volunteers, it thrives as an invaluable asset for our district, an exemplar of community action. See more here facebook.com/TamworthCivicS…
