The Maria Ending begins with the "Dream" sign right above Maria's head, but it's off. That might have a deeper meaning; Either that choosing Maria may seem like a dream, but it's about to turn into a nightmare soon, or that Maria isn't a dream, but a real person, somehow.

*Minor spoilers* When a character's essence speaks, their images flash so briefly on the screen that we don't get to notice the details; Edward and Angela appear infected, Gabriel's infection gets gradually worse, and Artur appears angry (which suits his impulsive personality).

*SPOILER* It's hard to notice during the cutscene, but Zybert has merged with Angela, who went to the hospital to look for her mother. Which is why we get Angela's essence along with his, and Zybert talks through Angela to the Traveler. The body horror in Cronos is incredible!

On the way to the Abstract Daddy fight, a man and a woman can be heard whispering behind the doors, possibly Angela and her father. Trying to open the doors makes the man panic, he says "Shh!" and they both go quiet. A different conversation can be heard behind each door.

The nurses' heads are translucent, filled with fluid and there's something alive and pulsating inside. This is visible only when light hits them from certain angles. It seems to resemble an amniotic sac. #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake
