We closed Abbeville Road in Clapham to cars for a few hours today & something truly radical & transformative happened. We saw a community grow. People came out to chat, laugh, listen, gossip, eat, drink & share. Just proves that streets are for people not just for cars.

I’m having a clean & polish day on my 7.25in gauge ‘Sandy River 2-4-2 ‘Peggy’, sitting there on shed. This is my view for lunch in the shade under the trees at Weston Park MPD. Birds singing, sunshine, a nice sarnie and passing trains: today is a good day!
