Not to be that person but I do read a lot of scripts as both a screenwriting teacher and a notes person and there's a VERY COMMON NOTE I've been giving a lot that I'd love to share to maybe save you some time in your draft: 1/2

What happens is important (plot) but equally or more important is how the plot's events affect our characters. Allow your character to feel, write scenes in which they're processing the events. Empathy is key, if we don't know how the events make the character feel, we care less.
