Started #UNGA week meeting UN Secretary General António Guterres. We discussed the global consequences of Russia‘s war of aggression against Ukraine, and the situation in Africa. The EU‘s core objective is to defend the rules-based global order and multilateralism.

#UNGA unequivocally rejected Russia’s illegal annexation of #Ukrainian territories, another blatant violation of the United Nations Charter. 143 votes in favour confirm Russia’s international isolation. Russia will be held accountable. The EU will stand by Ukraine for as long as it takes.
