Coming soon! Ecstatic that work from the ROhiLab@Michigan and Kristen Verhey labs is in press Current Biology! In brief, Yang Yue and Takashi Hotta determine how microtubules are detyrosinated in cells. Microtubule lattice conformation is key: an expanded lattice licenses detyrosination.

Very happy to share this story! Lovely ongoing collaborative work with the lab of Kristen Verhey. Very many thanks to Takashi Hotta, Yang Yue and Takumi Higaki for working on this project! sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
