Wow! BBC News (UK) found a woman whose daughter’s outpt appointment was cancelled today. They clearly thought she would be anti the nurses strikes. Instead she gave the most intelligent and empassioned argument for decent pay for nurses I have heard yet. Bravo!

The government is now going after PIP (Personal Independence Payment) for pensioners saying 'they are not working, why should they get the money'. Let's be clear. PIP is nothing to do with work. PIP is given whether someone is in work or not as disability is bloody expensive.
