We’ve had 3 top ~10 overall prospects in the past 6 years who have demolished AAA pitching after a month in Memphis and had fans begging for them to be called up. One is 23 and fans are barely still excited about and another plays for Baltimore now. There is no reason to rush JJ.

Why are so many people assuming that realigning divisions means randomly switching teams between AL and NL

Reminder that just because Manfred floats an idea (such as creating purely geographic divisions which would put the Yankees and Mets in the AL East, among other things) doesn’t mean it’s under serious consideration

Yadi did a terrible job here. He wasn’t in a good position to block the ball, so if it had got past him the runner at 3rd would’ve easily scored.

I don’t think people realize that Rob Manfred is probably not going to be commissioner when MLB realigns divisions.
