CREATE lab is finally on Twitter! We'll be sharing news about Queen Mary University of London, QMUL Centre for Predictive in vitro Models (CPM) , Barts and The London, Queen Mary, biomaterials, 3D printing and biofabrication. Join us developing the next generation of animal free in vitro models for research.

Congratulations to Atiya Sarmin from Connelly Lab for successfully defending her thesis! Atiya is the first PhD from CREATE lab and we are proud of her work on development of ECM-based bioinks for advanced 3D bioprinted models of wound healing. Celebrations Blizard Institute 🥳

#Congratulations to Oscar Pundel and Connelly Lab for the publication of Extracellular Adhesive Cues Physically Define Nucleolar Structure and Function in Advanced Science onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ad…. Oscar utilised micropatterned substrates made in CREATE Lab in the study.

Fantastic opportunity for young scientists at all levels (undergrads, PhD, Postdocs)! The calls for abstracts and awards are open until April 14th. Intl Soc Biofab #bioprinting #biofabrication TERMIS SYIS EU Young Scientist Forum - ESB

See the new special issue of the Journal 'In vitro Models' on the achievements of members of the UK Organ-on-a-Chip Technologies Network (Organ-on-a-Chip Technologies Network) and the keynote speakers from the symposia series now led by QMUL Centre for Predictive in vitro Models (CPM). Great editorial (Adrian Biddle) link.springer.com/article/10.100…?

New pre-print from Lyndsay Kerr collaborating with Ramon Grima 😀. Analysing single-molecule #Nanopore, we found intra-molecular heterogeneity in DNA methylation patterns at heterochromatin. You can read more here: biorxiv.org/content/10.110…, but here is a quick summary: 🧵 1/8
