There is a place ( Kumik Elder's Lodge) for First Canadians to teach Culture to Federal Government staff -Gatineau, Indigenous Department. I am a bit disturbed that Inuit Elders get hired only 1% during the year.The funding equal 4 Inuit First Nation Metis.

Kumik Elder's Lodge Federal Government hires 99% First Nation Elders to teach culture to Federal staff, flown in from all over Canada and even New York. Inuit Elders or knowledge keepers are not getting hired and for years.

WE need our own Inuit TV Channel. APTN doesn't serve Inuit well.

I have started a Saturday open house for those that want to learn to sew whatever Inuit Clothing at my house right here in Carleton Place.
