Tripartite ticket acceptance:From 22/06, in the event of the cancellation of a East Midlands Railway (EMR) NORTHERN π or TransPennine Express train passengers may use any other EMR/Northern/TPE service within 2 hours of their cancelled train. This applies on all routes these operators share

Evening all, I've finished work for the day so travelling this evening for a night away. The first leg is 1B89 from Lincoln to London with London North Eastern Railway as far as Newark Northgate to change trains. 800205 is operating it tonight.

My arrival at Hull marks another route done in my quest to travel the entire London North Eastern Railway network on an LNER service. I'm running out of routes, just Skipton and Aberdeen to go, oh and that pesky bit between Leeds and York. The Leeds to Aberdeen service might be useful for that last one

Batman: Arkham Knight was released 10 years ago today. Rocksteadyβs final Arkham game took the series to its peak, with a legacy thatβs kept it alive and played ten years on. It was also the last time we played as Kevin Conroyβs Batman in the trilogy. A true end of an era.

To quote the 11th Doctor, I'm going "home the long way round" (Hull to Metheringham via Leeds). TransPennine Express 802219 at Hull about to depart on 1K16 to Liverpool Lime Street. This is taking me as far as Leeds on another new route for me.

Good morning East Midlands Railway (EMR), the ticket machine at Metheringham isn't working. I think it's just out of paper.

New East Midlands Railway (EMR) 810 at Crewe! Also got a nice shot with its regional service counterpart :)

We're proud to reveal our newest livery marking 50 years of the National Railway Museum. This livery continues our longstanding support of the NRM, with previous train namings in 1985 and 2015 to mark 10 years and 40 years respectively.
