It is even more repulsive to hear them say these things. This is clearly not a “moment of intense frustration and anger.”

Their apologies feel hollow and too casual in contrast to the words they brazenly uttered behind closed doors. We are not elected to mock children, to promote divisiveness between Black and Brown communities, or to negate years of hard-won unity in attempts to conspire for power.

The response is worse than the original offense! Integrity means that you are the same person in public as you are behind closed doors. Today the hearts of our powerful City leaders were revealed. Heartbroken at the violation of public trust.

There is an election in a few weeks, so this actually has been cleaned up some. There are so many other parts of LA that look the same. Such unnecessary human suffering. This is not an over priced housing problem.

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks. My family and I are proud to support organizations like Justice for Murdered Children and Gentle Giants with over 300 meals this holiday.

11 years has paid off.

Not really conservative, but the answer is yes. There were many answers in place that have all been dismantled. They need help, but they are not going to seek it on their own. Somethings need to be forced. It’s called Toughlove.
