Prof. Dr. Markus Gerber DSBG University Basel gave in November 2024 two lectures at the senior university on the topic of exercise and mental health in the auditorium in the Kollegienhaus at the University of Basel. The two lectures were very well attended.


This year, our DSBG event was in the Zoo of Basel. There we could decide whether we join the guided tour in the monkey house or in the Etoscha house, before we had a delicious dinner. It was a fantastic evening with and for our colleagues. A big thank you to DSBG DSBG University Basel .


Our Team (PsyHPA) DSBG University Basel received 30´000.00 CHF from FAG (=Freiwillige Akademische Gesellschaft), situated in Basel, for a new PhD project which will start in January 2025. We thank the FAG very much for the trust in us.


Yesterday, 12/12/24, we had our team Christmas party DSBG University Basel with dancing Greek dances & playing bubble soccer. Afterwards, we had the traditional GlĂĽhwein a delicious dinner & a kahoot quiz about our little secrets. We all enjoyed it very much and went home with a smile.

On the 14th of February 2025, Vera Nina Looser from the Department of Sport & Psychosocial Health DSBG University Basel successfully defended her dissertation on the topic “Physical activity, cardiorespiratory fitness & neurophysiological correlates of memory in young adults”. Congrats!!
