Kemi Badenoch's cheerleading of Donald Trump at PMQs shows the Conservatives are totally out of touch with our values We should be standing up for human rights, the rule of law and international security - not rolling out the red carpet for Trump.

All human beings are entitled to the same rights and freedoms. Classifying groups of humans as not being entitled to the same rights as you crosses a dangerous line. If you can't see that, then consider your own self-interest: what's to stop others doing the same to you?

Being "woke" is just being polite, considerate and caring about other people. I'm not stopping doing those things just because nasty people want everyone to join them in being nasty. Who's with me?

Help to spread some Christmas cheer this year by supporting the Giving Tree appeal 🎄 All you have to do is pick up a gift tag from one of the Christmas trees in the borough and buy a present for a disadvantaged child 🎁 📸 Wokingham.Today

Today is the beginning of Trans Awareness Week. It’s an opportunity for us to celebrate trans people, acknowledge the challenges they face, and reflect on how we as a society can work together to improve trans people’s lives. Read more from @CAJardineMP 🔽

I suppose the Tories behave like they do because they have got used to the idea that they can say anything they like to be popular, and the press will portray it as being right. Even if it is factually incorrect, intellectually incoherent and not in anyone's long term interests.

Tory hypocrisy is remarkable. Their leaflet in Winnersh attacks the Lib Dems for putting 3950 houses at Hall Farm. The photo in it shows them protesting against 4500 houses. Which was the number THEY put in the plan for Hall Farm. Yes, a bigger number.

Why does woke matter? Honestly seeing disabled actors in Dr Who and seeing disabled people included in the fictional future is so special somehow. Sometimes their disability is relevant sometimes incidental and I appreciate both because it’s never “for inspiration” or “in spite”
