Right now, our health system is failing Black men. We've delivered our open letter to Health Secretary Wes Streeting calling for lifesaving change to NHS guidelines - which thousands of you signed. Thanks to you, our voices are being heard. #ProstateCancer l #MensHealth
1-in-8 men will develop prostate cancer. That number doubles to 1-in-4 if you’re Black. As someone with family history of the disease and in a high risk category I’m proud to support Prostate Cancer UK’s campaign to improve diagnosis rates via my role in the APPG for Prostate Cancer.
Good to stand with cross-party Black MPs in support of Prostate Cancer UK campaign for changed rules so GPs can raise risks with Black men who are more likely to benefit from early diagnosis. Thanks to The Voice Newspaper for their coverage. 👇 voice-online.co.uk/news/uk-news/2…

With thanks to Clive Jones MP calling for targeted prostate cancer screening. The National Screening Committee is reviewing the evidence for different prostate cancer screening scenarios. We’ve led the charge on this and made a strong case for the review libdems.org.uk/press/release/…
Great to support a very successful event at the Coach and Horses, Leyton, to raise awareness and money in tackling prostate cancer. Thanks to (O) The Leyton Orientear for bringing us together! 💙
We visited Parliament this week to attend an event hosted by Movember UK and ran into Paul Campbell who stopped to join our call for an end to the routine use of the digital rectal exam – because a ‘finger up the bum’ is no longer a useful test for prostate cancer.
