Pretty low effort patch notes this time around. Didnt touch freya, sombra or sojourn so balancing around bans hasnt happened yet. Assuming they'll put a hero balance patch out next week as balance is now considered content and has to be drip fed.

Chat was asking for my junkrat build in stadium. Give it a shot, M7292. All it does is make you a discount freya but theres something to be said to mimic a hero that has tracers mobility, hitscan consistency and the highest burst in the game. Get in the air and snipe away

Holy hell is junkrat bad in stadium. Most of his items only have attack speed. His unique items have low stat numbers but are critical so end game is rough. Very difficult to get money. 90% of his powers are a joke. Really wished they gave more for direct hits builds.

Love how they say how skillful the new hero is going to be, how he has to predict and skillfully hit the enemy with his projectile. That shit is larger than rat's grenade and has a bigger AOE. This is that HR meme all over again

If freya doesnt get nerfed next season we know the whole "take input from ban rates" is complete bullshit. Im going to assume theyll give a BS response like they wanted to see what changing perks did before changing her kit but she needs to be significantly nerfed.

Looks like i was correct. They changed Freya's perks as a way to try and balance her out instead of dealing with the issue directly. Her perks arent the problem, its her dominating the first 4 minutes so no one gets to major perks. So much for listening to ban data

Junkrat is looking really bad in stadium this season. Guy needs some serious help, probably need to change the +10% damage on flyers on both his items to +35%. Shit is insane right now.

It seems wild to me that they added draft mode to address counter picking... when stadium was designed to allow heroes to be built to play into their counters. It's almost as if you need to actually balance and design the game better instead of building flimsy systems around it

Double checked this in a custom mode that shows damage numbers and can confirm. Mine's min damage has been reduced to 30.

What's really strange about Junkrat's shadow nerf to mine is that the hero information screen says its 55. Which means they aren't generating those values live in game from code. Its a human inputting these values so it can be wrong.

People are complaining about rank inflation but the current population is .1% for champ and .3% for gm. OW1 was 1% for all of GM. The pop is so low that you're going to get wide SR games. So skip the wide SR process and just bring up some players from masters.

Latest patch today fixed junkrat's mine fall off. Its now properly set to 55. Strangely enough there's no notes on this, just a note about a fix for junkrat's ability power in stadium. Wonder if stadium changes are impacting the normal game in some strange way.

Tracer and Genji still avoiding any meaningful nerf for 9 years now. Now we wait for new seasons for anything of value. Devs treat balance as content to get people to play more. Make the game as good as possible as soon as possible. Live service games screwed the gaming industry

Hopefully they'll give rat some buffs so people will buy the mythic

I know people will yell at me but i praised teamups in rivals because it could have been a really good fix for 6v6 in OW. The idea would be to create team ups for hero line ups that had low natural synergy. Would open up the roster significantly and help end hard metas.

Talk about a whole bunch of nothing balance changes. Same OP heroes are OP, same weak heroes are weak. Wuyang gets a change to his base kit while all other heroes get lazy perk changes. This is something i'd expect a couple week after a new season, not the actual season changes.

I think the junkrat mythical is going to turn him into a twink
