Fantastic to hear that the UK_PD_CSG has now hit the 100th member milestone! Such a great initiative that will increase opportunities for people with Parkinson’s to take part in research and speed up clinical trials!

It’s great to have been involved in this new initiative. Tech can be a great benefit but people with Parkinson’s need to know which technology is right for them. Over time the number of reviewed products will grow and the community can add their reviews!

Great to be part of this amazing project which uses techniques like single cell type RNAseq, proteomics etc to unlock the secrets within the Parkinson’s brain. This wouldn’t be possible without the Parkinson's UK brain bank at Imperial College!

This is a great article which clarifies the potential of adaptive DBS, who will benefit and at what stage of development this new technology is at. Great work Parkinson's UK Research Communications team!

This new centre will boost research capacity to better understand the causes of Parkinson’s and will catalyse new treatment development. This triggers the global search for a new centre director and an additional 4 group leaders. Details in web post.

World Parkinson’s day got off to a flying start with a 5km fun run at the Synuclein2025 conference today. Today is the 4th day of cutting edge research to better understand the role of alpha-synuclein in Parkinson’s. Parkinson's UK is proud to sponsor this event.

As National Volunteering week comes to a close it was great to volunteer with 350 walkers at the Parkinson's UK Mote Park walk for Parkinson’s. Walks help raise £9m for our nurse appeal. Further details of walks happening across the UK visit our website events.parkinsons.org.uk/event/walk-par…

Good luck with your training Caroline and the great north run on the 7th Sept. It would be fantastic if we can fund more nurses into the NHS. Donation page parkinsons.org.uk/donate/donate-…
