“Hacking the Code” by Gea Meijering is a high-interest book about a lovable prankster navigating school & friends w/ his “Apple” brain. Written in a dyslexic-friendly font, it will be loved by kids who have similar experiences w/ or attitudes toward school. #Gifted #ReadYourWorld

#LeavestoMyKnees by Ellen Mayer is a charming read aloud sure to be a storytime pick in the fall. Readers will love the grit of Camille as she tries to tame the fallen foliage using her very own rake. Illustrations by @nicoletadgell add joyful details. #Gifted #ReadYourWorld

Our #readofweek is "I Talk Like a River" by Jordan Scott, a book about a boy managing his relationship with his stutter. It was added to our library due to advocacy by some of our former 3rd graders and we are so thankful. Students have been truly entranced by the read aloud!

Our 2nd graders Primrose Hill School were so lucky to have award winning author @AnikaDenise visit our library to share the story of the trailblazers that inspired her to work toward greater representation on every shelf.
