I came downstairs, slightly more dressed up than the last few days stuck inside in pajamas, and my daughter looks at me and says, "You going swimming?" Points to my lipstick, "What's that?!" I... maybe I need to reconsider my business attire?

Snow day = me silently screaming as I drown under the work that I'm still underwater from when my children's daycare was closed for COVID outbreaks.

Parents in this timeline will remember who has treated them with grace and understanding... and who has not.

Lost a day this week already to one child home sick from daycare. Now daycare has already declared a snow day for tomorrow. With both toddlers home, I don’t know how I’m supposed to ever catch up. I haven’t had a full week of daycare yet in 2022.
