Great photo from the SIRU Grand Final this weekend as James olds (AKA “The Turnstile”) lets in another one.
Looks like it really is true. Steamers Rugby Club’s former best player (and media whore), Liam K, is leaving for redder pastures. In my Presidential opinion, his form has been on the downhill over the last year or so anyway, so no big loss. facebook.com/13688748307146…
Everyone wants to be like me. Unfortunately not everyone can win a Premiership in their 1st year of coaching, but best of luck trying james kora. bordermail.com.au/story/7011307/…
The wait is almost over with a 1st round classic next Saturday. Steamers Rugby Club vs @CsuReddies. I’m rock hard for this one. For me, this will be like watching the two greatest loves of my life jelly wrestling for 80 minutes, then joining me for beers. Life doesn’t get any sweeter.
The takeover is complete. Steamers Rugby Club now have a Kiwi (born) President, 1st XV Coach and Captain. Weather looks choice for tomorrow so pack your sammies, throw on your jandals & get over to Wagga for the clash with @CsuReddies. It should be sweet as Bro bordermail.com.au/story/7201644/…
The match of the round is in fact @CsuReddies vs Steamers Rugby Club. I have been looking forward to this day for months. Here I am priming myself for what will no doubt be a day of classic rugby, victory dumps, low-carb beer, kebabs and a good sleep.
With a celebrated playing career at @CsuReddies & successful coaching /Presidential stints at Steamers Rugby Club I’m often asked where my heart really lies. If it can only be one, it’s NamtrakTrain, my fantasy rugby team. I love each and everyone of my rapidly changing 23-man squad.
The opposite of loving a rugby team is hating one. Steamers Rugby Club are playing WAC Rugby tomorrow at Murrayfield. My @CsuReddies blood is boiling at the prospect. Prediction 1: Steamers Rugby Club by 36. Prediction 2: I’ll be drunk by 10pm and gorging on a kebab by midnight.
As a vaccinated anti-vaxxer (my wife made me get it), I salute the patriots at Wagga City Rugby for flaunting their freedom and standing up to the fascists by not wearing the ‘mandatory’ face masks at a social event.
With Aggies coach Tom Lamond joining forces with Big Nick at Tahs, the thing most in danger at the Grand Final rematch next year will be the pie warmer. Expect Bubba from Wagga City Rugby and the walruses from Tahs to go toe to toe on Ganmain Pies from gates open until dusk.
