During #WorldAntibioticAwarenessWeek, a public awareness program was organized by the HIC team Dept of Microbiology VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital in presence of Dr K Suri & Dr K Kumar Addl MS. They emphasized the appropriate use of antibiotics, the role of vaccines &hygiene in preventing infections.

During #WAAW, Team HIC,Dept of Microbiology VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital organized a program for MBBS students which included quiz and interactive talk by exMS Dr Sunil Gupta. MS,Dr Bansal & exMS DrTalwar highlighted students’ roles in preventing AMR. Program was attended by Addl MS & Dr R Sharma.

During #WAAW24, A workshop on #AMSP was conducted by HIC team in the presence of MS Dr S Bansal & all Addl MSs. An interactive session through case based discussions was organised for residents & faculty. The program emphasised on rational use of antibiotics & infection control.
